​Built in a community of homes with strong covenants for exterior detail conformity, this home is supported with an extensive system of caissons, some 20’ below ground. The home features 4’ eaves, which are helpful in a climate like Oregon’s, and a tile roof. Our clients were from the southwest and wanted tile flooring everywhere with the exception of certain rooms that were carpeted. The bathrooms and kitchen are tile with granite counter tops. The cabinets were done in oak. We made many small changes as we moved through the project to accommodate ideas that came to light as the building moved forward, such as insets in sheetrock to accommodate particular pieces of art. We always try to be flexible to changes as they can happen on any project and the aim is to always to please our client.
